Eat-in kitchen has dishwasher and there is a well-kept commercial-grade laundry room in the basement. Located in a secure, well maintained Pre-war elevator building on the top (6th) floor. Apartment is 1600sf / 4BR unit with shared living space (kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room) occupied by Family: (1) adult woman and (1) 6 y/o son who has his own room. Mom is a design/art professional, working outside the home 40 hours/week. Son attends elementary school or day camp. Both occupants are easy-going, friendly, respectful, and neat; also both of us are native New Yorkers. + Additional Airbnb guest room available in the 4th Bedroom of the apartment, separately listed. The neighborhood is Columbia/ Morningside Heights//West Harlem. Half block from the #1 train 125th St stop, a couple of blocks from the A/B/C/D at 125th Street. Multiple bus stops around as well. One block from the Hudson River and Riverside Park (the best park!). Easy access to the Greenway bike path. Neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. Mostly a mix of long-time locals and students. Guest access Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom (shared with 2 other adults and 1 child). Additionally there is access to laundry in basement. Ideal guest is neat, over age 25 and comfortable living with a 6-year-old child, with early morning activity in the common spaces, and generally quiet evenings after 9pm. During your stay We will be housemates, and I am here and happy to help with anything at anytime. Other things to note We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly home. The apartment is 100% pet-free. It is not feasible to accommodate couples in the space, however we are open to overnight guests at an additional per night fee, and must have approval in-writing 24-hours in advance of booking.
