Country Vineyard Retreat with deck

Escape city life and unplug in this gorgeous 3 story home overlooking the rural Wakarusa Valley. 3 Bedrooms & LOTS of space to relax. It has a 360 degree Wraparound deck that features views over the 10 acres of property, and the Wakarusa Valley. The property has a pond, water pond, a small vineyard and plenty of spots on the massive deck to enjoy a meal or coffee. The space Amazing location about 12 miles outside of Lawrence. Fairly close to Clinton Lake. The drive is worth it for the quiet farm location. The house was custom built overlooking the Wakarusa valley. Surrounded by corn & hayfields & friendly neighbors. The roads are all great for walking & many are paved. The majority of the drive is fully paved. There is no garage access as the property owner Lorri stays there during bookings, but there is room for about 4 cars in the driveway. There are 3 official bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full bath with a double vanity, deep soaking tub, shower & a king size bed. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bath & 1 has a queen bed, the other a full size bed. Several patio tables for lounging outside. We highly suggest a the porch swing for a sunrise and sunset watching. There is a smoker style charcoal grill ready (charcoal is provided, but we require you refresh what you use!). The coyotes can often be heard calling throughout the valley at night. Great spot for stargazing & watching sunsets. We are dog friendly with house trained dogs. We do have internet, but do not have cable. The smart tv can be used to tune into a few channels and you can use your own login for hulu, netflix, etc. There is a DVD player. Guest access Please limit guests to those on the reservation unless prior approval is obtained No garage access available at this time, as the property owner, Lorri stays in the apartment there during bookings. Full kitchen is available with plenty of dishes, spices and condiments. Washer/dryer are not available, as that area of the house is being renovated in off days. The basement is unfinished and we ask that guests not use that space Check in is somewhat flexible- it is available in the afternoon. Check out is at 11am. Your security deposit may be forfeited if any of the rules are broken or if you stay past the checkout time. Other things to note The fiber internet access is brand new and while we do everything we can to ensure it is up and running, occasionally there are outages and we cannot guarantee service. We have a collection of cooking spices and essentials. For items other than spices and condiments, please replace what you use. We do provide plenty of pots/pans, dishes & other cooking utensils. We do ask that you clean up after yourself and leave the place pretty much how we left it, other than laundry. We are dog friendly, but Please make sure they're house trained (and clean up after them if they have accidents). If they're prone to wander, keep them leashed. Do not let small dogs loose at night without leashes...coyotes & owls can be a problem. When leaving, please make sure your dogs are crated. Do not leave them unattended inside the house. Towels, toilet paper, trashbags & linens are provided, so no need to bring your own. We also have a large selection of toiletries like shampoo & soap in the master vanity. The master bath tub is nice and deep for soaking, but the jets do not currently work
