Modern Cottage with a Touch of History We warmly welcome you to our Folk Cottage. Built with love for nature and admiration for our history, the cottage is a perfect symbiosis of folk motifs and the practicality of modern times. The space Throughout the year, you can come and relax in a traditional wooden cottage with a total capacity of 11 beds, including extra beds. On the first floor, you will find a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, including a pantry, as well as a terrace and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, electric oven, combination fridge, electric kettle, and various kitchen utensils. The centerpiece of the open space is a brick fireplace that creates a genuine homely atmosphere during chilly evenings. Vyšná Boca is situated in a valley where even in the summer, cold days can surprise us. Therefore, you can easily light a fire in the fireplace, which will also warm the upper bedrooms through vents. Next to it is a dining area with a view of the television. The room is adorned with various books, historical items, and even a piano. The second floor consists of three bedrooms – the first has a single bed, the second a double bed and a private bathroom, and the largest one has three double beds. The single and triple bedrooms share a bathroom accessible through a common corridor. Two additional beds can be found in the living room. You can enjoy leisurely moments by the sound of a babbling brook on the sunny courtyard, where you can prepare grilled delicacies, cook a cauldron goulash, or simply relax with a cup of fragrant coffee. In addition to the grill and cauldron, an outdoor pizza oven is also available. Children can spend their free time playing on the playground, equipped with a trampoline, sandbox, and slide. The cottage is not intended for loud or boisterous celebrations but rather for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking active relaxation. We start with the rental of one cottage, with more to be added in the future. Therefore, come and take advantage of the peace and benefits of the entire area. The village itself is an excellent starting point for hiking, cross-country skiing, and winter sports. During your walks, you may come across the Mining House museum and the Salvátor Mine. Along the way, you can refresh yourself with Kyselka (local spring water with iron) and sit with a well-chilled beer at the popular local pub 'U Beťára.' The village also has a grocery store (note that opening hours are adjusted during the season and may not be open every day). Nearby is the well-known Zvonica, where you can buy fresh bread, rent e-bikes, have lunch, or relax in the wellness area. You're also not far from the recreational areas of Tále, Krpáčovo, and Mýto pod Ďumbierom. In winter, you can ski at Čertovica or the Ski & Bike Park Mýto pod Ďumbierom.
