The Hudson - Farm Stay Wall Tent

Bring your family and experience life on the farm! The Hudson is a fun and colourful place to make some memories! Located on a small farm where we raise livestock and fresh produce. Experience the sights and sounds of a farm, like baby animals playing, a rooster crowing, and quiet country sun sets. *Please note: during winter the animals are tucked away at their offsite location and return in the spring! *Also available: pack 'n plays and tot cots (75 lbs ). Please inquire. The space The Hudson is a large wall tent with a deck on the front for you to sit and soak in the farm! Set on a small working farmstead where we raise produce and livestock, it is a perfect place to relax and experience country life. In addition to the queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed (220 lbs max), we also have available several tot cots (75 lb max), pack n' plays available on a no charge, first come first served basis. We also have high chairs. Please inquire. Guest access You are invited to browse the farm store full of quality local produce, meat, baking and more during our open hours. Or enjoy some ice cream and interact with the animals*! Walk around the property and take in the peacefulness of the country. Spend a restful time at the farm and soak up its beauty! Current Store Hours (subject to change): Sundays: Closed Monday-Saturday: open 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Stocked with fresh veggies and dairy etc on Thursdays. Staffed on Thursdays. Our store is open as a self serve honour store all other days. We have a user friendly payment system where you self check out your purchases, using credit or debt card. *Petting zoo closes late fall and winter. Usually opens around the May long weekend, as the pens need a chance to dry out from melting snow etc. Other things to note ****Pets are welcome but please let us know and make the extra payment ($25 per stay) when reserving**** No indoor washroom in the unit itself. However, we have a heated washroom (flush toilet/sink/shower) in the grain bin shower/bath house, located next to the store, as well as a clean portable toilet closer to your unit, and also an outdoor hot shower during warmer seasons. The showers and the toilets are shared with other guests staying on the property. Please use our high quality soaps provided (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hand soap and dish soap) as they are biodegradable and organic, for the safety of our soil. Because our soaps are earth friendly, you are welcome to dispose of grey water outside in an out-of-the-way place. In addition to the bunk bed (twin over twin), we have two highchairs, two tot cots (up to 75 lbs) and two pack 'n plays available on a first come first serve basis. Please check for availability.
