The space The guest house is located above the garage of our main house, with its own access stairs next to the garage. Walking in, you'll first enter the window-filled open living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen's appliances will meet most - if not all - of your cooking and food prep needs: coffee maker, electric kettle, pots, pans, a hand mixer, blender, baking sheets, measuring cups, cutting boards, and more. The cozy dining table can be used to enjoy a meal while looking over the bike/pedestrian walkway outside. For those working remote, the dining table is also a great place to use as a workspace and laptop workstation. In the living room, enjoy relaxing on the sofa by day and - for those not sleeping in the bedroom - convert it into a queen-sized sleeper at night. Once pulled out, bedding and pillows for the sofa sleeper are conveniently stored within its storage compartment. The bedroom includes a queen bed and adjustable blackout/light filtering shades. Extra pillows, blankets, and other bedding as well as extra bath towels can be found in the drawers under the bed. Accessible from both the bedroom and bathroom are a stackable washer and dryer for travel-sized loads.
