Summer’s Getaway

This is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom lake house. It’s 20 min right off Interstate 65. It can sleep up to 6 guests. The two bedrooms and one bathroom are located upstairs. There is a charcoal grill but please bring your own propane or charcoal as we do not provide this. The Apple Maps navigation leads you straight to the house but please note that the last mile is a dirt road. It’s very close to the public boat launch if you choose to bring your boat. PLEASE NOTE: NO WIFI OR WASHER/DRYER ACCESS!! The space The lake house is quiet, internet free, and full of true relaxation. It’s close to the public boat launch which makes it easier for guests who are bringing boats. On the way in, you will pass Hickory Chip which is super country but has amazing food!. The lake house has access to the water on either side for fishing! Other things to note 1. The paved parking is about 40 ft from the house. The walkway down to the house is downhill so please note this when carrying luggage and groceries. 2. Part of the house is literally on the water so the entrance to the front door is close to the water. It may not be suitable for young children if you are wanting them to run freely. 3. We have clean linens, towels, and wash cloths for our guests that are prepared before arrival. 4. If you bring a boat trailer, we suggest backing it down the driveway (which can be tight) but doable if you are experienced driving a boat trailer. 5. Bring your own propane or charcoal as we do not provide this.
