Parking 5 mins walk The space Humble cottage is situated at the bottom of a medieval opeway it is a semi detached south facing former blacksmith forge dating from the 1700s . The next door neighbour was the workshop and Humble cottage was the living quarters. The garden was full of horse shoes and we think was connected to the old stable an Inn around the corner. Penryn is an historic and charming ancient borough town and was given a market charter by Royalty in 1200 . There are many pubs cafe’s , restaurants , shops and art galleries here and has a strong artistic and creative community. Humble cottage is in a quiet situation being one of two facing south at the bottom of the medical opeway. It is a minutes walk from the main road and drop off area opposite the museum and next to the telephone box. Please be mindful to drop off luggage and shopping as traffic wardens maybe around . Access is gained walking past many ancient cottages and finally around the corner at 8 you will find 9 in front of you . Private and secure garden from gateway leading to small private garden with seating and pond as well as summer house . No access on to roof of summer house for safety purposes. Front door leading to light vaulted kitchen diner with built in seating and circular table seating 6 . Door leading to separate lounge with low beamed ceilings and pannelled wall. Wood burning stove for cosy days and evenings by the fire , log store .Ample seating ,Large corner sofa and two winged chairs . Next door king size cabin bed with velux and blind open wardrobe and chest of draws. Outside summer house no access on roof for safety sofa and day bed to hangout with heating . Guest access All spaces accept loft space and summerhouse roof space. Other things to note Drop off parking outside opeway a minutes walk to humble cottage then Saracens pay and display carpark off street parking or free parking for 1 hour or free parking in Permarin carpark after 4pm or £6.40 24hours long stay arrangements via just park app. 5mins walk to Humble cottage.
