It's like camping, but with air conditioning & convenience -- glamping! Step back in time to that peaceful easy feeling of the '70's. Retro meets Modern: 3 miles- gas, Dollar General 5 miles- Walmart, AlDi's 7 miles- Publix 7 miles- Fairhope, AL 14 miles- OWA Amusement & Water Park, Foley, AL 20 miles- Gulf Shores, AL, Orange Beach, AL This 24 foot vintage Airstream Argosy features the painted gypsy shell in red and white, AC/Heat, twin beds with fresh linens, a small "full" bathroom (w toilet, sink, small shower). Also, a 2 burner gas stove, microwave, kitchen sink, mini fridge, dinette table, outdoor picnic table, and small grill. A Roku tv is on the wall for use with your favorite streaming apps. Wifi provided; please use personal logins. The cabinets, drawers, and closets hold most of what you'll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, bowls, cups, glasses, mugs, toaster, countertop ice maker, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans, and a few more cooking essentials. A modest amount of regular coffee, filters, creamer, sugar is provided complimentarily for your first morning... along with a few waters and snacks. Grocery stores are very close for anything else you want for the remainder of your stay. Outside Space: The outdoor space includes patio mat, picnic table, sun umbrella, small charcoal BBQ grill, chairs, fire pit, chairs for stargazing or fireside, large field for dogs to roam. It is a cool spot to relax. The front porch becomes an outdoor dining area in moments. I try to keep wood nearby for the fire pit. If you need more, feel free to gather up any fallen limbs or branches you can find. At night, the fresh air and crackling fire pit bring back memories of youthful whispered stories. You are encouraged to fully enjoy the grounds, explore the woods, wander down the country roads. If you're not sure which direction to go, I'll be happy to assist. *Note* My home is also on site and located toward the front of the property. The Airstream and my home share 6 acres. You will pass it whenever entering or leaving. Please do not try to enter the main house, carport, or wood shed. I highly regard your privacy and do not come near the airsteam at any time during your stay. The only exception is in the event of an issue or problem you've encountered. At that time, I will schedule my visit with you. Other things to note: This is country life. The glamping hideaway sits on 6 acres surrounded by woods, farmland, birds, deer, rabbits, foxes, and more. Instead of eliminating nature, we embrace awareness and knowledge for coexisting with insects, wildlife, critters, plants, etc. For visitors who love walking: the three roads of this neighborhood are dead ends and have hills. Perimeters of agricultural fields can also be walked, if desired. On property host. Here to help or leave you alone! I'm happy to give as much or as little interaction you prefer. Technically, this Airstream can sleep 3-4 people. A third double sized bed folds out by lowering the dinette table and repositioning cushions. Mattress topper, sheets, blanket, pillows for this bed are included with reservations of more than 2 people. **Please message me to reserve for more than 2 people so I can remove the limitations.** Nightly fee of $10/night applies for each person after 2 guests.
