Escape to this secluded Lake Hartwell lakefront retreat w/ stunning lake views, a private dock and gently sloping lake access just steps from the house. Enjoy sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails. Spend the day fishing, swimming, kayaking or simply relaxing by the water. Unwind in the evenings around the fire pit. Rent watercraft from a nearby marina or bring your own boat, then tie up at our private dock. The space The home features a fully equipped kitchen that opens to the living area, separated by a double-sided gas fireplace that creates a warm, inviting space for gathering. HIGHLIGHTS: - Private dock in a wide cove off the main channel - Public boat ramp only 1800 ft away - Canoe, paddleboard & 3 kayaks included - Fire pit overlooking the lake - EV charger in garage - Sleeps 6 KITCHEN: Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, utensils, spices, coffee & tea (Please note: Our Keurig was recently replaced with a brand-new Keurig K-Elite single-serve brewer. Listing photos will be updated soon.) DINING AREA: Table for 6 in front of a bay window with lake views LIVING AREA: A wall of sliding glass doors opens to a deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the view while playing board games & puzzles or streaming your favorite shows on a 55” Smart TV. The double-sided fireplace divides the living area into two spaces, creating a secondary space for reading or setting up your laptop in the dedicated corner workspace. BEDROOM 1: King Bed, Smart TV, ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combo BEDROOM 2: Queen Bed, shared bathroom with shower BEDROOM 3: two Twin Beds, shared bathroom with shower OUTDOOR LIVING: Deck & gas grill. Private dock with table, umbrella & chairs and loungers. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Guest extras include fishing poles, canoe, paddleboard, three kayaks, life vests, floating toys, cornhole set, croquet set, and an air hockey table. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks are available for guest use at your own risk. [Note: Owner’s jet ski is not available to guests.] There is plenty of space beside the dock to tie up a boat or jet ski. You are welcome to bring your own or rent one from Harbor Light Marina, C&E Marine or S&J Marine. Before using the fire pit, please check local weather to ensure fire risks are not high that day. LIFE VESTS available for guest use: 1x - Mens XXL 1x - Adult XL 1x - Adult L-XL 1x - Adult S/M 3x - Adult 'Universal' 7x - Child/Youth (including one with crotch strap) WATER DEPTH: Lake Hartwell levels fluctuate seasonally and are typically lower from September through March. As of June 2026, lake water levels are lower than usual due to ongoing drought conditions, with around 8-9 feet of water at the end of our dock... still plenty of water for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and relaxing by the dock during your stay. GENERAL: WiFi, free EV charger (Level 2) in garage, gas grill, central A/C & heating, washer/dryer WE SUPPLY: - All linens and towels, including beach towels. - Toilet paper, paper towels, dish sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, body wash, 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner, laundry detergent, iron/ironing board, hair dryer in each bathroom. - Trash bags, foil, plastic wrap, ziploc bags - K-cups (including decaf), sugar, stevia, honey, Coffee Mate creamer, hot cocoa, assorted tea - Firewood & fire starters for firepit PARKING: The flat driveway accommodates several vehicles and most boat trailers. The asphalt entrance is shared with our neighbor, so please do not block the shared area. Do not park in the neighbor’s narrow driveway on the far left. Guests may park anywhere on the wide concrete driveway in front of the garage. Boat trailers may also be parked on the street or cul-de-sac as long as driveways remain clear. HOUSE RULES: -Min age of 24 to rent -Max occupancy 6 -No parties -No fireworks -Noise shall be minimized so as not to disturb our neighbors -We have a NO PETS policy as we aim to keep our home safe for those with allergies, including our family member who is highly allergic. Undisclosed pets will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and immediate cancellation without refund. - Third party bookings are not allowed. The Airbnb account holder who makes the reservation must be one of the guests staying at the property. -No smoking allowed INSIDE the home. If you smoke outside, please properly dispose of cigarette butts. -This house has a septic system. PLEASE do not flush anything other than toilet paper. -Please do not wear shoes inside the house. The lake area is known for its red clay which stains easily. Rocks caught in shoe soles or wet shoes also damage the wood floors. -FIRE PIT: Do not ever leave the fire unattended, especially before calling it a night. Please use the outside hose to douse fire with water once you are finished. The hose is at the side of the house closest to the fire pit. - Please return kayaks and paddle board back to the rack after each use. -Children are welcome! However, our home is not child proof. Guests traveling with toddlers and young children are encouraged to bring your own child proofing safety items. We currently do not offer cribs or any child-specific amenities. -Within 5 days before check-in, we will not accept alteration requests to change dates or shorten a stay. We stick to our cancellation policy and recommend purchasing travel insurance for your stay should something come up. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the entire home, with the exception of the owner's closet and the crawl space storage area which will remain locked. For boat or jetski rentals - Harbor Light Marina, C&E Marine or S&J Marine If you need additional watercraft, Lake Hartwell Kayak delivers rental kayaks, paddleboards and canoes. Our home receives regular pest control service and professional cleanings between guest stays. Because the property is located in a rural, wooded lakeside setting, the occasional insect may still find its way indoors despite these efforts. By booking, guests acknowledge that occasional sightings are possible and are not considered a cleanliness or maintenance issue. To keep the property well maintained, we have a lawn service scheduled every other Friday or Saturday. There may be times when this overlaps with your stay. The landscaper typically stops by briefly (usually under an hour) to mow and take care of basic upkeep. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the outdoor spaces looking their best for all guests.
