2. Local stay in Fukuoka, a city by the sea, in Ashiya

A two-story house located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Ashiya, a seaside town. We, the hosts, and two rescue cats live on the first floor and offer the second floor as an accommodation space (the first and second floors are separated by a private entrance). Shared spaces are shared with other guests, so you can enjoy interacting with them. When you walk out of the residential area, you will find Okaminato Shrine, famous for its nanjamonja, and a promenade overlooking the majestic Naga River. A little further on, you will find Ashiya Beach with its white sandy beaches, the Uomi Park with its observation deck overlooking the sea, and the Ashiya Kama no Sato with its Japanese garden. In addition, Ashiya-cho, an old port town, has many restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood.
