Tiny home in Quinlan
Description
Enjoy the sounds of nature, rest, & recover. Rustic, homey, & unique. 4 mini goats & 5 chickens fenced out front; 4 kayaks, 1 paddle boat, & 1 SUP (stand up paddle board) for the quaint lake ahead. Books & nooks, hammocks & cozy kitchen. Walk around the backside of the property to explore nature even more. Plenty of stars in the sky. Record player, for an old time feel. Unplug & unwind. Let nature heal you, whilst enjoying the zen. The space There is 1 medium-size dog on property (Petunia). Also, this tinyhouse uses a composting toilet system. Similar experience but wood shavings instead of water. Sleeping areas: loft 1) queen size, loft 2) twin size, futon) full size. Please see pics for details. There are steps that lead into the tiny house from the front. Loft 1 & 2 require ladder climb, futon on first level. To open futon: pull towards you, then will release down. Must pull sofa feet away from wall some. Guest access You are free to wander the property. Not recommended to walk beyond 429/ the far end of 335 (the short straight road that leads to neighborhood). But that area is nice to walk around or jog. Beautiful nature outside. Kayaks for use. Guests encouraged to enjoy interacting with goats/ chickens as they please. Discouraged from opening goat fence. Under no circumstances should the goats, chickens leave the fenced area. Fence protects them from dog. Other things to note Someone will come down 1-2/day to feed/ water goats outside. If preferred, guests are welcome to do this instead. It’s very simple, a scoop of pellets into 4 black containers attached to fence. Hose near 3 water buckets. Do not need to enter fenced area for this. Please let me know if you would prefer to do this. You may feed the goats & chickens plant-based foods, minimal bread/ grains for goats. Goat treats go in black containers or love to eat from hand. Cat allergy warning: a cat will not be there, but has been in the past.
