The location is unrivalled, with easy access to Fitzroy’s exciting night life and music venues, as well as grocery stores, retail, boutiques, the Fitzroy Swimming Pool and all the wonders of Smith Street. Central, quiet and clean. The space One bedroom apartment with ensuite, kitchen and lounge area. Please note, there are no chairs or couches in the apartment. This is a lifestyle choice based on improving posture and avoiding back pain. If you are uncomfortable sitting on the ground this apartment may not be suitable. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed that you'll look forward to returning to and features a large plant-adorned window and a spacious built in robe. There is an electric blanket with dual controls for each side of the bed. Extra bedding and pillows can be found in the robe. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and all of your standard kitchen utensils. The kitchen also includes an SCP Fluoride Plus Water Filter to remove chlorine, chloramine, fluoride and other impurities from your drinking water. The lounge area is a minimalist light-filled space that includes a floor-sitting dining area. Meals can be enjoyed around a beautiful wooden coffee table with floor cushion seating. The lounge area is equipped with a record player and many records of different genres. You can also plug in your device if you’d like to play your own music through the speakers. The plant-adorned bathroom features a lovely bath with all of the essential amenities during your stay. There is also a large collection of fiction, poetry, music related and philosophy books as well as a selection of New Yorker magazines to read during your stay. Free allocated on-site outdoor parking for one car. Guest access Check in time is 4pm. We will usually be able to meet you to give you the key. If you’re checking in particularly late or we are unavailable we will be in touch to organise the key handover. Other things to note The apartment is on the ground floor and is equipped with sheer curtains to maintain privacy without compromising the beautiful natural light. There are also black-out blinds for privacy during nighttime hours. Please leave bathroom window ajar after shower to aerate. This is a 1970s apartment and the fan is not particularly powerful. There is no extra fee for a second guest.
