Heaven The space This is a beautiful lake house that feels like a mountain house situated on 3 private lots in the small lake community of Highland Lake. Custom built & designed by the architect, the house has beautiful wood w/ vaulted ceilings & tall doors & windows overlooking sweeping views of the lake below. The bunk room is perfect for kids and has 3 bunk beds & the infrared sauna. Guest access The whole enchilada Other things to note There are lots of steps- 3 levels in the house and 3 sets of stairs down to the lake. I recently hired a contractor to build a handrail, which is helpful, but you'd hate for forget your towel/ book/ drink and have to go back up to fetch something. The stairs to the lake would be difficult to manage with babies. Or adults/ elderly who can't climb stairs well.
