This is a very cozy little unit with a nicely appointed kitchen for you to enjoy your Florida Keys getaway. It also has a wonderful view down the canal from the rear porch, and a nicely sized dock, accommodating boats up to 30'-0" in length, with fish cleaning station. Yes, you can dock your boat right behind the unit! 1. You'll have the entire house and grounds to yourself, but please note that this is a tight community and you'll be close to your neighbors. 2. Vehicles: The driveway length is limited at this home and will not accommodate a vehicle larger than a sedan or crossover and there is no room for trailer parking at the unit. Larger vehicles, such as pickup trucks and SUV's, in addition to trailers, will need to be parked in the on-site overflow lot which is approximately an 8-minute walk from the unit. Arrangements for overflow parking are on a first-come/first-served basis and cannot be made in advance. Only two overflow vehicles are permitted per unit/per night. Overflow parking charges are $5.00/night for passenger vehicles and $10.00/night for trailers or oversized vehicles such as RV's or campers, payment is made at time of check-in with park staff and is payable by cash or credit card. In the unlikely event that overflow parking is unavailable (it has never happened) please contact us through the app and we will assist with alternate arrangements. My cohost Phill lives within 5 minutes of the property and works within 15 minutes. You can reach him through the app. This home is located in a private gated community called Venture Out. This is a mobile home community that has a mixture of rv lots and permanent homes. The community is well-maintained and is occupied by full-time residents, part-time residents (aka "Snowbirds"), and long-term and vacation renters. It is a neighborhood, and some of your neighbors are permanent residents, so please be considerate during your stay. The community has a marina with boat ramps, pool, a hot tub, a salt pond with a small beach area, tennis, bocce, and pickleball courts. The courts are a 5 minute walk or so from the home and there is also a small convenience store by the marina that is open daily if you need snacks or beverages. Parking is limited at this location. You are permitted one vehicle only on site no larger than a sedan or crossover. Information on overflow parking is provided in property description. The park is very walkable and the major amenities are within an 8-minute walk from the unit. 1. We respectfully request no children under 14 at this property. 2. Guests will be responsible for paying a $125.00 one-time park fee upon arrival. Payment can be made by cash or credit directly to park staff/security at time of check-in.
