Skaneateles Cottages Property Management LLC The space The house sits on 1.6 acres with 130 feet of private lakefront complete with patio furniture, a dock, a picnic table and a fire pit, which makes it a perfect place for watching the sun rise and set over beautiful Skaneateles Lake. Explore the lake in our canoe or kayaks, or, for those who wish to bring their motor boat or sailboat, a marina is a mere 0.3 miles south of the house and we have a mooring available for your use. Stroll down to the Mandana Inn for a scrumptious meal (a mere 0.3 miles south), enjoy a glass of wine at Anyela's vineyard (1.4 miles north), explore the many quaint shops and restaurants of downtown Skaneateles (5 miles north), or simply relax and take in the breathtaking beauty of the lake right at the house. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom have views of the lake. The house has a working fireplace, heat, and air conditioning. The main room is a spacious open area comprised of the kitchen, living room and dining area. The dining area has a dining table which can accommodate up to 10 people. The porch off the back of the house facing the water has two lounge chairs and two tables, one accommodating 6 people and another in a screened in area of the porch which accommodates 4-5 people. A two car garage is attached to the house with additional parking in the driveway. The house is up by the road 400 feet (gently sloping) from the lakefront. We will rent the house out for the last 2 weeks in June and all of July 2024. Other things to note Please note that by renting this property, you agree to the following terms: 1. Use: The premise may be used only for a single family residence. No large or loud parties are permissible at the residence. 2. Care of the premises and grounds: vehicles may be parked and driven only on the driveway and in the garage; they are not permitted on the grass. The tenant shall be responsible for any damage to the house and/or premises which results from action by the tenant or guests while renting the house and using the premises. 3. Liability: The tenant is responsible for all acts of family and guests present at the house and on the premises during the rental period. The tenant will not hold the landlord responsible for any personal injury in the house, on the premise or in the lake which occurs during the rental period.
