A straw bale house set in the rolling hills of Collinsvale, Situated 620 metres above sea level on a 50 acre hobby farm 🐑 🐓 In the colder months a possibility of snow ⛄️ Only 5 minutes drive to Myrtle Forest water falls and if your keen on a good hike, Collins Cap and Collins Bonnet which continue from the same trail. 15 min drive to Mona, 20 min to New Norfolk with a Market on every Saturday with plenty of Antique shops and 25 min to Hobart CBD. The space A beautiful modern Queen Deluxe Studio room with a private screened entrance .. A home away from home with a Queen size bed fitted with an electric blanket. Large built in glass wardrobes with plenty of space. A kitchenette with a continental breakfast included. A large pantry including a good provision of pantry items and goodies. Flat screen smart Tv with Netflix. Toiletries provided in the private bathroom with heated towel rail.. Around October to December we quite often have baby lambs born so there might be an opportunity for feeds and cuddles. We have poultry on the farm so fresh eggs will also be provided for breakfast. Guests are very welcome to use the outside enclosed living room and from here enjoy our spectacular views. This room includes a full kitchen with dining table with chairs, Tv and also a wood fire. Also guests are welcome to walk around the front Gardens which are blooming at the moment. Guest access Outdoor living room with full kitchen and front gardens. Other things to note Our studio is for couples but couples with a baby under 6 months can be accommodated.. we have a porta cot if bedding is required.
