Cottage in Historic Village and Hot Tub

The cottage is a pretty, romantic, Georgian terrace cottage in a historic village with a castle. There is a hot tub too! Within walking distance of open fields and the sea. Beaches are 2 mins drive and 15 minutes walk through open fields. Perfect for a holiday or retreat. The village has two pub restaurants and children's playground. Parking is in the church lane at the back of the house. The bedroom is stylish with a double bed, suitable for a couple. Not suitable for children. Please note - there is a friendly cat living at our cottage - so you must like cats, our cat feeder will visit once a day during your visit. There is a large kitchen for guests to use There is a hot tub in the garden - it's very hot and lovely - use from 12 pm until 10 pm. Costumes optional. It is an inflatable hot tub in a insulated box, low spec but highly efficient, it reflects the cost we charge for rental. No smoking at all in garden or house. We normally live at the property as our sole residence. We make the space clear for guests but we do not empty all the cupboards and draws. Please be at home. You are welcome to help yourself to anything in the food cupboard, read our books and listen to our CD's, our taste is eclectic. Our home isn't a blank minimalist environment. I have a background in fine art, there are lots of unusual pieces in our house. Please note the bathroom is downstairs on the ground floor. Close to the village are the South Downs and the famous Beachy Head and Cuckmere Haven, a national park and an area of outstanding natural beauty. Glyndeborne and Charleston house, home of Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell are a short drive away. The closest town is Eastbourne, Brighton is 45 mins drive, with all the attractions the city has to offer. Pevensey and Western has good rail links to London, Eastbourne and Brighton. Other things to note Our cat Duchess lives here. You must like cats. We have a cat feeder who visits each day at a regular time.
