River Water Levels: Water levels are managed by the TVA and vary seasonally. Water levels are typically highest from April through August (great for kayaking and fishing). In cooler months the water recedes in the off-season (revealing peaceful wetlands). Seasonal pricing reflects this. Access road: The short road leading down to the home is steep as it approaches the river. Most vehicles navigate it easily, but guests should drive slowly and use caution, especially in wet conditions. Trucks & SUVs navigate without difficulty. For safety, exterior security cameras are installed at the front door, garage, and back deck. No parties or events allowed, per Airbnb policy. No smoking or vaping inside the home. The total number of guests (including children and dogs) must match the reservation and may not exceed 8, whether staying overnight or visiting. Exceeding this limit may result in cancellation without refund.
