Beautiful waterfront home on Rockwood Pond in Fitzwilliam, NH. Over 160 feet of waterfront. Western facing with mountain views and the most amazing sunsets! Great location, only 15 mins to Mt. Monadnock, and close to MA and VT. This lake is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing and biking! On a sunny day, the huge 24x12 deck, yard, and beach will see sun from dawn to sunset. Private beach and dock. 2 kayaks and new stand-up paddle boards! The space There are only 10 homes on the lake and our house is 1 mile down a private road. If you are looking for a wild lake scene with boats flying around and noisy nights, this is NOT it! It's rare to see a motorboat on the lake and jet skis are not allowed. There is no public access and only 2 homeowners have boats. The 3 bedrooms include 2 with queen beds and 1 with two twins . There is also a couch with a pullout double bed and a cozy daybed. Heat and A/C can be powered by our brand-new mini split system for chilly mornings or warm evenings. You may find that you rarely need to use though, as the 2 giant sliders and ceiling fans welcome a wonderful breeze off of the water. The position of the property makes for the longest summer days with the sun above you late into the evening. Enjoy incredible sunsets from the beach or deck! There are also miles of hiking and biking trails are within walking distance of the house. The Monadnock Recreation Rail Trail is on the other side of the lake and a 5-10 minute bike ride from the house. Its a 14 mile flat gravel trail through nature that connects to the broader NH trail system. Paddle board or Kayak to the middle of the lake for amazing view of Mount Monadnock!
