At “Foothills Haven “ guests will enjoy being in a centrally located apartment. It’s a thirty-minute drive to Wilkesboro, Hickory, Statesville, or Lenoir; just north of the quaint town of Taylorsville, nestled in beautiful Alexander County. “Foothills Haven” is a private basement apartment with a private keyless entrance. There is a private patio, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, a living/dining area and a full kitchen. We allow up to two children over the age of five and do not accept animals. “Foothills Haven” is located on a beautiful 2-acre property amidst a large, working farm. There is off street parking, separate from hosts parking. Apartment is down a gravel driveway to the guests’ keyless entrance, which is down short, concrete, walkway. Path is slightly uneven and has a few cracks so care is necessary. There is a security camera outside the entrance. Guests have their own patio with a table and chairs. The property is on the main road so some traffic noise may be audible. The apartment is cozy and has a space heater if needed in the winter. There is full AC for the summer. There is a full kitchen off the living area. It has a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. Pots, pans, dishes, utensils and a few other essentials are included. The 2 bedrooms and full bath (towels provided) are down a short hallway. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a daybed and trundle. Linens are provided. In house laundry room is available upon request when host is on site for long-term guests who are staying 7 nights or more. Host will coordinate with guests for laundry room use. HOUSE RULES: 1. Check-In is after 3 p.m. Please notify us if you will arrive after 10 p.m. This will help us to insure that the lights from parking area to lower patio are lit. 2. If the specified number of guests is exceeded without prior permission from the host, then an additional charge of $25 per additional person per night will be added. 3. We ask that you be reasonably quiet and discreet especially after 10 p.m. Absolutely no parties or events permitted. 4. We respectfully request no eating or drinking in the bedrooms. 5. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE! There is an ashtray for butts outside, if needed. Please use this and do not toss them on the ground. Thank you. 6. If you use self-tanner, please bring your own towels and linens. 7. Several other rooms are off limits, and your respect is appreciated. 8. Before check-out: Please make sure all dishes are washed. Please put garbage in trash cans. 9. Check-Out is 11:00 a.m. If you need a later check-out time please let us know either at check-in or the day before check-out to make sure it will not interfere with other guests checking-in. We will only allow guests an extra 15 minutes after agreed upon check-out time. If checkout is after the allotted 15 minutes guests will automatically be charged for an extra night. 10. Please notify us by phone when you have checked out. This will allow us to start cleaning and preparing for the next guests. Hosts are available to help with your needs via phone when not on site.
