The entire property is well landscaped, fenced, and gated which makes for a private ‘compound’ feel. With the community boat launch just steps away, bring your own boat and leave it in the on-water covered slip or enjoy some of the property's non-motorized water toys, several covered sitting areas, boat house slide and second story water swing! Guests will have exclusive access to full property and will not share with anyone other than their party. Spicewood is situated near Lake Travis, home to several wineries and vineyards and is surrounded by natural beauty, including parks and nature reserves like Krause Springs, which offers swimming and camping, and Pace Bend Park, which offers hiking, biking, and horseback riding. A car will be necessary to access the property. Boat rental recommendations, in-home chef recommendations, and child care recommendations are available if you need them. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS "Is the pool heated?" The pool is not able to be heated. "Can I bring my pet?" While we love dogs we - unfortunately - do not allow pets on the property. "Can I bring my boat?" Unfortunately, the water levels are too low for boating as of February 2023 "Are there life jackets at the property?" Yes! We include a few life jackets with every rental. If you have a large group, we would strongly recommend that you bring a life jacket for every member of your party. "The house looks pretty big...what is the maximum number of guests you can accommodate?" 18 total guests can stay at the property. "Do you allow weddings or special events?" Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for weddings, parties, or events.
