Get away from it all when you stay under the stars at our Rustic Glamping Tent in the wilderness. Ideal for couples only - NOT suitable for toddlers or pets. Get away from it all and unplug! Connect with nature, explore charming Bilpin or relax in the hammock and enjoy your favourite book! An easy 1.5 hour drive out of Sydney and right next to Wollemi National Park. You will find yourself surrounded by gorgeous old forest trees and park like grounds. Soak up the serenity as you totally relax! The space Go off-grid and reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape only 1.5 hours from Sydney! Please note: you need a vehicle to get here and to get around the area - there is NO public transport or taxi services. We provide a fully set up tent which includes bedding, towels, chairs, camp lighting and fire pit! You have your own rustic camp kitchen with small BBQ and gas cooking, hot water for washing up and a pot belly wood stove to keep you warm in winter! The outdoor shower is private and has HOT water and we also have a composting toilet at the site. If you do want to check in the with the world, limited wifi is available on sections of the property! Set within a thirty-acre equine farm bordering the magnificent wilderness of Wollemi National Park there are many opportunities to soak up the peaceful serenity of our magical property. Enjoy the mature cold climate garden setting surrounded by sweeping lawns, open paddocks with large established native trees and a huge variety of birds all within a few steps. Meander along easy walking tracks which lead directly to the magical Wollemi National Park. Grab a picnic, head out to our plateau and enjoy stunning views of Mount Wilson, Mount Irvine and Mount Tomah, all in total seclusion. There is limited WIFI, minimal phone service and no TV so it’s the perfect time to read a book, play a game or try some watercolours. At night enjoy the fire-pit and gaze at the glittering stars! Blissful. All this only 1.5hours from Sydney CBD. For additional friends or family we also offer the gorgeous Magnolia Cottage which caters for up to 6 guests. Please check our listing on Air BNB for availabilities. We also offer horse riding lessons which you can book ahead. Guest access Once you arrive please drive in through the black gates. Please close them behind you and then drive straight ahead for about 300 metres - down past Elmview Cottage and you'll see the glamping tent. Please park in front of the Rustic Glamping sign. This whole area is yours to enjoy (around 3 acres) and you can walk along the roads within the farm to feed or pat the horses and to walk out to our Wollemi Lookout - its a 30 acre property so lots to explore. Other things to note Please note: you need a vehicle to get here and to get around the area - there is NO public transport or taxi services. So, what does Off Grid really mean? Essentially there are no services to OFF GRID sites which means: 1. No power 2. No wifi ( however we do have some areas of good coverage but not in the tent) 3. Limited phone reception 4. Composting toilet ( with NO SMELL) 5. No Fridge, No TV However we do have HOT water! There is a lovely hot shower in our rustic outdoor bathroom and the camp kitchen has hot water as well as a small pot belly wood stove for warmth. We can help you with starting the fires if you give us an approximate arrival time. Our Rustic Camp Kitchen comes with: • BBQ • Gas camping stove with griller • Pots and pants and a kettle • Cutlery, and washing up items • Wollemi Valley Spring water for you to drink • Basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, powdered milk • Firewood, matches , kindling Pot belly stove • Re-chargeable camping lights The large Bell Tent is waterproof and there is a super comfy QS Bed for you to enjoy, no need to bring linen or blankets we provide it all! IMPORTANT THINGS TO PACK FOR YOUR CAMPING/Glamping TRIP While we supply most things you need, there will be few things you should bring to make your OFF GRID holiday amazing! 1. ICE for the esky ( we provide an esky but you are welcome to bring your own as well) 2. A torch- although we have lots of rechargeable camping lights you will need a torch just in case 3. Warm clothes – it can get very cold, so make sure to bring warm clothes, coats, socks 4. Food and drinks 5. Wet weather boot 6. Wet weather coat 7. Personal insect spray 8. Please make sure to fully charge your phone before you get here. However we can charge your phone at our house if you really need to charge it. Registration Details Exempt
