Rustic Cotswold Cabin with stunning views & walks

Rustic cabin located on the edge of Rodborough Common, National Trust land, walking or cycling distance from Stroud. The cabin is particularly admired for its charm and spectacular views over an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Our rustic cabin is open plan and includes kitchenette, WC, and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside patio has a fire pit and stunning views. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset to the sound of bird song. The space Facilities include; 1 x king-size bed on mezzanine (linen provided) 1 x small double on mezzanine (only made up on request) Eco electric radiators and hot water Kitchenette includes fridge, kettle, sink, 2 x induction hobs, plus cooking & dining equipment Indoor WC with toilet and sink (with hot water) Large open plan living area A selection of books, jigsaw puzzles and board games. Outdoor fire pit (and cooking grill) with a supply of wood to keep you warm late into the night Outdoor seating and dining table Double hanging swing chair underneath tree Basic outdoor shower - now has warm (but not pipping hot) water from start of 2024 - before it was more for fans of Wim Hof!. Small welcome selection of local produce (please let us know if you have any dietary requirements) Dedicated (overnight) parking space on the driveway, next to the cabin, for the duration of your stay (on request) Secure lockable bike shed space (for up to 2 adult bikes) for the duration of your stay (on request in advance) Guest access Cabin and upper patio (exclusive use of) Other things to note Important Information Please note the cabin is best suited to people who are looking for rustic glamping adventure (as opposed to generic hotel with all the mod cons!). We are surrounded by nature - you are bound to see and hear the squirrels and maybe badgers and deer too. The cabin is used as a home office during the week and only available at weekends There are steps down to the cabin and patio area. As well as ladders up to the mezzanine levels, so unfortunately the cabin is not currently suitable for disabled access, or children aged under 10 years. The cabin is located in a very tranquil, quiet hamlet with a handful of cottages close by. The cabin also overlooks the neighbours garden. Therefore we politely ask guests to refrain from playing loud music in respect for our friendly community and to help us maintain our treasured peaceful environment. There is no indoor shower. There is a basic warm (not hot) outdoor shower. You may want to bring swimming costume and towel for the outdoor shower. We provide hand towels but please bring our own Bath/beach towels We look forward to welcoming you.
