This brand-new cozy, modern cabin is ready for year-round fun! On Lake Ida, a premiere swimming, fishing and boating lake, the cabin offers superb views and direct access to the clear, sandy lake. Game room, bunk room and fire pit for maximum family fun. The property is great for multiple families, several couples, or for a group retreat to get away and relax! It's equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay - amazing linens, fast wifi, child gear and fully stocked kitchen. The space The cabin was built from the ground-up in 2023 with Scandinavian-influenced design. The cabin sleeps 12 comfortably and the layout is perfect for group gatherings with a central hang out area and screen porch that integrates into the dining area with pass-through windows. The cabin is 15 minutes from downtown Alexandria, 7 minutes from Carlos Creek Winery and 5 minutes from Miltona Golf Club. The indoor dining table, outdoor picnic table and new fire pit are designed to seat 12. Two bed/bath en-suites - one upstairs and one downstairs - offer privacy amidst the group bonding. Bedrooms 1 and 2: Ensuite bed/bath rooms with heated bathroom floors (one king and one queen) Bedroom 3: Queen bed with office workspace Bedroom 4: Built-in bunk room that sleeps six (adults or kids!) Gas fireplace creates a cozy ambiance year-round. Fully equipped kitchen, towels, organic cotton sheets, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers Board games and puzzles for children and adults of all ages Baby pack ‘n play, high-chair, children’s plates & utensils Outside: Lake: A large, new dock has ample room for hanging out by the crystal clear lake and boat bumpers for docking your own boat. Great fishing right off the dock! - Lakeside hammock offers a peaceful place in the shade to relax. - Hard, sandy lake bottom around dock - Paddle boat, kayak, paddle board, and floating lily pad available to guests. - Outdoor shower to rinse off - Connections to local pontoon rental businesses - fire pit with marshmallow roasting sticks - grill and picnic table Game room: The detached garage has ping pong, ring toss, pop-a-shot, darts and more. (Game room is not heated or air conditioned) Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, garage/game room and lake front. Guests are welcome to bring a boat and tie it up to the dock or park a jet ski in our lift. The driveway will fit four cars. We ask guests have no more than four cars total. Other things to note We recently installed an electric vehicle charger. If you are interested in using it, it should be straightforward but please message us for detail. No bachelor, bachelorette parties or events of any kind allowed on the property. Note: If you are a small group (6 people or fewer) and do not plan to use the bunk room you can inquire about a lower cleaning fee. Horizon public health license #2162 LIABILITY WAIVER: Our property provides you with a unique opportunity to swim, fish, enjoy the dock, fire pit, and use the kayak, paddle board and paddle boat. We want you to take advantage of these amenities and have a memorable visit. However, by agreeing to our Airbnb House Rules, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved with participating in these activities and that lakes, docks, decks, stairs, campfires and boating may present dangers for adults and children. Children must be carefully supervised at all times when near the water. If you swim or use the kayaks or paddle boat (especially children) we strongly recommend the use of life jackets which are provided for you and your guests in the bin at the bottom of the stairs. Because the water at the end of the dock is only 4' deep, no diving off the dock is allowed. By agreeing to the House Rules, you acknowledge the potential risks discussed above, agree to accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may occur to you and others in your party, and waive any claim whatsoever against the owners for accidents or claims arising from these activities.
