Project space "Obst & Sterne" (Fruit & Stars): pure star enjoyment

The old fire station garage is part of our project "Fruit & Stars": The tranquil Rensow is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg ParkLand and Sternenpark M-V. Due to the low light pollution, the view of the night sky is unclouded - a star paradise. In 2019, we took over the former fire station garage with the 1,500 sqm plot of land at the fire pond and transformed it into a very special place! Here you can enjoy peace & nature, sit by the fire & watch the stars: Simply be! The space The old fire station garage (about 55 sqm) was built and expanded while maintaining the industrial character. We have almost exclusively used historical building materials from the village to preserve the rustic character: On the ground floor there is the living area with kitchen block as well as bathroom (shower) and separate toilet. The gallery with sleeping area is reached via a tango staircase (cave: the staircase is not suitable for people with walking difficulties!). The tranquil building is adjoined by a spacious, secluded large terrace. From here you can enjoy the incredible starry sky - preferably with a glass of wine - or the view wanders to the historic manor house and park. Other things to note Important note: The project space is essentially an industrial building as a converted fire station garage. Raw uneven concrete walls and brick floors cannot be cleaned as cleanly as woodchip and laminate due to their design. The fire station is located on a 1,500 sqm natural property next to a fire pond. In the countryside, we regularly have flies, bumblebees and spiders visiting. Raccoons, deer and mice, however, must stay outside. The project room will of course be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. Organizationally, however, it is not always possible for us to carry out the cleaning on the day of your arrival - so it can happen that due to the work of our woodworm family, something has trickled down from the ceiling or wall in the meantime. In this case, the vacuum cleaner is happy to help. In short: a rustic property in the countryside!
