Our comfortable 1-bedroom condo on a peaceful private mountain sleeps 4 and comes complete with indoor fireplace, kitchen, and living room. Our fully equipped and newly renovated condo will make you wish you could stay even longer! Our condominium sleeps 4 people, there is a queen bed in the bedroom, as well as a queen sleeper sofa. We have plenty of pillows and blankets for both. We have a deck with a gas grill, please be sure to turn it off when you are done cooking. We are dog friendly, the condo will accommodate one dog and must be leashed at all times. Private Mountain at 2700 feet We are centrally located between Crossville and Harriman. Crossville is known as the golf capital of Tennessee, there are 9 premier courses within 20 minutes. Bear Trace is a personal favorite. If you are into racing, the Crossville dragway is a 1/8 mile IHRA sanctioned dragstrip, the Crossville speedway is a 1/3 mile high bank dirt track with stock car racing. Coming soon is the Flatrock ARCA race track. At exit 320 is the world famous Bucee’s gas station with over 75 gas pumps, delicious food and maybe the largest selection of jerky you’ll ever see. We have two local wineries, Chestnut Hill and Stonhaus. Both wineries have gift shops as well as free wine tastings. The Cumberland County Playhouse has year-round high-quality plays in a historic venue. Ozone Falls is a natural area with a 110 foot waterfall, swimming and fishing located 2 miles east from our entrance. The Mount Roosevelt scenic overlook is 8 miles east from our entrance and offers a beautiful view of East Tennessee and Watts bar lake. Stop by Suzy’s for a great sandwich on the way! In downtown Crossville, the Military Memorial Museum features over 5000 military items on display. We also have a Military Memorial park with memorials to various wars and medal of honor recipients. Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls, Frozen Head State Park, historic Rigby, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood are all within a day trip and back. Watts Barr lake is close by and Caney Creek Marina has boat rentals. Meadow view Park Lake has fishing, hiking, and picnicking areas. Muddy pond is an Amish style community with stores and driving trails. Grinder House coffee shop is more than a coffee shop. In 2018 it was designated an “Official Location” on the Tennessee Music Pathway. They bring local, national and international acts of every genre. Some of the great local restaurants in Crossville are the Pour House, Forte’s, Catfish Cabin, Beef and Barrel, CPG’s and Lantana Lucy’s just to name a few. Cumberland Mountain State Park has hiking trails, a public pool and the Homestead Restaurant has the best banana pudding you’ll ever eat! August 3-6 2023 is the 127 yard sale. This is an annual 4 day event through 6 states that draws hundreds of thousands of shoppers and vendors. It is dubbed the “World’s Largest Yard Sale.”
