Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by a cozy and inviting interior, complete with modern furnishings and warm lighting. The hut features a comfortable double bed, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. The kitchen area boasts a full-size cooker and a small fridge, providing everything you need to whip up a tasty meal. Relax in the two soft chairs, ideal for snuggling up with a good book or a glass of wine. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower and flushing toilet, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. Step outside to your own private garden, surrounded by an enchanting orchard. The barbecue area is ideal for cooking up a delicious feast, while the seating area provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining. As the sun sets, cozy up near the chiminea, or relax in the large outdoor bath to watch the stars twinkle above. Overall, this charming off grid shepherd's hut is the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful and idyllic countryside escape. The hut is situated a few minutes walk from the parking area. Please bring sturdy boots or Wellingtons to walk to the hut. You are welcome to leave your boots in the attached storage area. We provide shampoo and conditioner from ‘Out of Eden’ and these are suitable for sensitive skin. The products are vegan and cruelty free. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole orchard space. They will be the only guests on site. We do ask that the bird hide and the green house are not used. Other things to note We have chickens in the orchard who are free range. You can shut the gate into your private space so they can’t interrupt your peace. The hut is off grid so there is no mains electricity. Please do not bring items to plug in as there are no sockets available. Lighting is provided by LED lanterns and there is a solar powered charger for a phone, watch or IPad. The hut runs on gas so you will be lovely and warm with hot water on demand. There is no WiFi but we do get a good mobile signal.
