Free WiFi -may experience disruptions and outages Guest access The house is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. Other things to note ************************************************************************** * REMOTE LOCATION - PLEASE READ * Power outages- Due to the remote nature of this property, power outages and Wifi disruption can occur. Refunds will not be provided for temporary power outages. A land line phone is provided for emergencies. Winter months-Please note that the private driveway is steep, during inclement weather you will need a 4x4 drive vehicle. We employ a snow plowing service but cannot guarantee the driveway will be cleared. You’ll notice an abandoned, broken-down barn and cars as you enter the shared driveway. Don’t worry, these can’t be seen from the cabin and won’t disturb your views. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything to preserve nature and remove these as they are not on our property. Our cabin sits on 32 wooded acres so it is possible to hear gunshots from nearby neighbors. We have one outdoor video/audio camera that overlooks the driveway to ensure our home and our guests remain safe. Recording video & audio 24/7. Two motion detectors located inside on the main level and lower level are no longer in use but continue to blink red. The cabin sits on a well, so there can be water discoloration and odor. Finally, we don’t store firewood near the cabin as it may attract unwanted critters, so please stop at shops or roadside stands for firewood bundles. * COVID-19 SANITIZATION * Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. * NO PETS ALLOWED * We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. * NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY * Please refrain from smoking on the property! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for oder removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. * NO PARTIES/EVENTS * We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. A rental agreement will be provided upon your booking. Staying at the Cardinal's Nest confirms that you have read and agreed to our rental agreement and house rules.
