Description

The Creosote (pronounced kree·uh·sowt) suite is a private lower level suite with one king bed, one private bathroom, living room, full kitchen (with stove/oven, dishwasher and fridge), private patio, and frame tv. It can accommodate up to two adults, and one infant (up to two years of age). The space JTH Tucson is a boutique desert inn made up of seven private suites and over 5,000 sq ft of shared spaces for guests to enjoy. Designed for an immersive, independent stay, each suite offers self check-in and feels like your own desert home. Our small team lives locally and lovingly maintains the property, ensuring your experience is peaceful, comfortable, and deeply connected to place. Located on 40 acres bordering Saguaro National Park, JTH Tucson is surrounded by towering cacti, native flora, and an abundance of wildlife. Every sunrise and sunset paints the desert in shifting colors, and the night sky reveals more stars than you imagined possible. This is a place to unplug, reflect, and reset—a modern inn inspired by the timeless rhythms of the desert. Guest access Guests staying in the Creosote Suite enjoy full access to all communal areas at JTH Tucson, including: - A chef’s kitchen and dining patio with charcoal grill - A canyon pool (solar heated, best May–September) - Hot Springs style tub heated to around 100°F - Rooftop lounge, yoga room, walking trails with a labyrinth, and living room with projector - Fire pit with complimentary firewood - Bath House add-on with Sauna, Cold Plunge & Outdoor Shower These shared spaces are designed to foster quiet connection—with nature, with yourself, or with those you travel with. During your stay Our on-site manager is available throughout your stay to answer questions and ensure your time here is as effortless as it is inspiring. Other things to note Upon check-in, you’ll find a light in-room breakfast with local teas, coffee, almond milk, and gluten-free nut-based granola. We recommend picking up groceries in Tucson before arrival to make use of the chef’s kitchen and remote setting. Private chef experiences, in-room massages, and other vendor recommendations are available after booking. If you’re interested in booking the entire inn, please contact us. For commercial photoshoots or events such as elopements or weddings, please reach out in advance, as separate pricing applies. An incidental fee of $250/room per night may be charged for group stays of three or more rooms booked individually, to maintain the quiet and restorative nature of the inn.
