The Annex in Willaston

Situated in the beautiful semi-rural picturesque village of Willaston on the Wirral. The cosy ‘annex’ is contemporary with a twist of bringing the outside indoors and has all the amenities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Immaculate interior, amazing privacy, and great convenience with Willaston village centre only a short stroll away. Conveniently located and great base to explore Liverpool, North Wales, Chester, Cheshire and the Wirral. The space The Annex is a standalone property set within four acres of a private residence. Ideal for short stays, holidays, or business. Whether you are on your own, a couple, contractors needing a location in or around Wirral/Deeside/Ellesmere Port for a leisure stay or work, the annex is perfectly located. The annex benefits from its own private drive and parking, allowing for two cars. Upon entering the property you step into the open plan kitchen/dining living area. The lounge area consists of a double sofa, chair, and coffee tables. There is a smart TV provided with Sky TV, Sky Sports, and Netflix. The kitchen/dining area has a microwave, integrated dishwasher, under counter fridge with an ice box, kettle, and toaster. It is fully equipped for your catering needs. A dining table with chairs has been provided. Basic tea, coffee and sugar will be provided for the start of your stay. There is a dedicated desk and chair for guests who are working during their stay and there is high speed wi-fi access. The annex sleeps two with a comfortable king-sized bed. Storage is not an issue as the room has a double wardrobe and bed side table with draws in and a chair. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle. Further storage space is available in the bathroom. Relax at the end of the day around the bistro table with a drink or enjoy al fresco dining on the annex balcony taking in the countryside views as the sun sets. Guest access Guests will have sole use of the annex, balcony and will be able to enjoy the surrounding land of the property for a stroll. Other things to note ** Ideal for the Open Golf. Please note that access to the annex is via stairs, so may be challenging if you have mobility issues. We have lots of amenities in the village including two independent cafes, Spar convenience store, artisan bakery, White Feather home and gifts, chemist, florist, barbers, and hairdressers. Willaston Country market pops up each Saturday morning in the Methodist Hall with home baked goods as well. There are two local pubs both serving food and the nearest is a five-minute walk. If you fancy getting out and about in Willaston there are lots of fantastic walks and there is plenty to explore. The Wirral Way is on the doorstep, which was once an historic railway line running the length of the Wirral. What’s more in Willaston village there is the iconic Hadlow Road Station where you can step back in time to the grade 11 listed heritage museum, which has been restored to look as it did when the station was closed in 1956. There is also the Station Master’s Café at Hadlow Road Station where you can enjoy taking in the station surroundings. Beach locations are within a 20-minute drive which include West Kirby and Hoylake. There are direct trains from Hooton train station to Liverpool and Chester. Hooton station is 1.6 miles from the annex. I live next door so if you require anything please just let me know in advance. Things such as flowers, chocolates, wine etc can be arranged and this can be settled upon arrival or ahead of your stay.
