The space This detached single-storey villa is located on the Sorrento Peninsula in a countryside setting, just 10 km far from Sorrento, allowing you to make daily trips to the most famous attractions of the area (Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii etc..). The hillside location offers a peaceful escape, far from the hustle and bustle of traffic, and at the same time is a short distance away from nearer villages, such as the charming Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, that offers all the amenities to make your stay extremely pleasant. Less than 1 km far you will find coffee bars, family-run restaurants, supermarket, groceries, gelaterias and any kind of shop to let you experience the taste of authentic local food! The location also allows to do lovely walking excursions. The area offers several trails along the coast and inland, being ideal for hiking lovers! This charming holiday house is surrounded by manicured gardens, where ancient olive trees, fruit trees and colorful flowers. Blessed with sunshine throughout the day, the villa features a large paved courtyard overlooking the surrounding hills, the sea and the island of Ischia. Always adorned with colourful flowers, the beautiful courtyard will be the perfect place to soak up the sunshine on the sun loungers - refreshing yourself whenever you want thanks to the outdoor shower - laze sitting in the shade of an olive tree sipping a drink, having breakfast and share your meals at open air. Here you will also find a portable barbecue to grill some delicious local food. Moving inside, the villa is tastefully furnished and treated in detail. It is is very bright and spacious, with white walls, traditional tiled floors and plenty of hand painted terracotta decors. There is internet WiFi connection and both air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort throughout the year. Il Tulipano consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with everything that’s needed to cook your own meals. As the living room, the kitchen opens onto the outside space, making it easy to enjoy your meals al fresco. Also, both bedrooms have a balcony opening onto the courtyard and the Mediterranean garden, so you can stroll outside upon awakening and breathe in the fresh air. A car is required for your stay and the house is provided with private parking. DETAILED DESCRIPTION The house is about 90 sqm. THE LIVING ROOM has a lovely fireplace (just for show) and is furnished with a sofa and an armchair. It also boasts a large flat screen satellite TV and is fitted with both A/C and heating. The kitchen opens on the living room through a brickwork archway. THE KITCHEN is equipped with a 5 ring gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and mocha coffee maker. It has a dining table sitting 4 and is fitted with heating. You access the sleeping area and the main bathroom from the living room. THE MASTER BEDROOM has a double bed and is fitted with both A/C and heating. Here is also a wall safe. THE TWIN ROOM has 2 single beds that can be pulled together into a double, if required. It is fitted with both A/C and heating. THE MAIN BATHROOM has a bath tub, with shower over. It is fitted with heating. You access the second bathroom externally from the backyard. The door is next to the bedrooms. THE SECOND BATHROOM has a shower cubicle You also access the laundry room externally, next to the house. In THE LAUDRY ROOM you’ll find the washing machine, the iron and the ironing board. THE OUTSIDE AREA is equipped with pergola, parasols, outdoor shower, sun loungers, wrought iron tables (with hand painted marble top), chairs and portable barbecue. The villa has private parking available inside the property. Guest access The whole villa is private: you will have complete access and no area will be shared with others Other things to note Car required. The last 250 meters of the access road are narrow (just over 2 meters wide) but accessible even with larger vehicles. Alternatively, you can park for free at the beginning of the driveway (upon request), just a 2-minute walk from the villa. Tourist tax: €3 per person per night (up to 7 nights), applicable from April 1st to October 31st. Payable in cash upon arrival. Minors under 18 are exempt. Pets welcome!
