The space The cottage sits at the end of a long private drive on a circular drive with massive beech trees at the center. The 5 acre property is an appealing mix of the mountains and country with the convenience of town. An easy drive to Dupont or to Pisgah National Forest. Walking into the cottage, you'll be greeted with a floor to ceiling live edge shelf system custom-built in Brevard. A basket of throws sits beneath for cool evenings. Skylights and the large windows bring the outdoors inside. In the living area, custom tables sit in front of the European sofa with a TV monitor placed on the wall available fully adjustable to the seating in the room. In the kitchen, the range, externally venting hood, full spice rack, and quartz countertops make working there a joy, whether it's a cup of coffee in the morning or a full dinner in the evening. In the spa-like bathroom, Frontgate towels are found in the large tiled shower area. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. A washer and dryer makes clean up after a day of hiking or biking a breeze. The bedrooms are complemented with duvets and comforters and a desk is provided in the second bedroom. John and Lora, the hosts, live in a separate house on the property. We are available to support any needs that you may have quickly. We will check in with you when you arrive and leave you in privacy unless you have a question or need some help.
