Peewit Blue, Light Wood

Enjoy the chance to experience life off-grid and benefit from the peace and quiet the woodland offers, allowing for the perfect opportunity for a digital detox! Make yourself at home in your pod area with everything included and try new things by heating your own shower by the wood burner. You can also enjoy our communal BBQ Hut, perfect to cosy up in when the weather is cold or wet. We also have a playground for children to enjoy which also includes a reading and games room for adults. The space Peewit Blue is the perfect space for families to relax and share memories whilst being off-grid. The pod includes a double bed and two bunkbeds. You will find 6 hot water bottles and all bed linen provided. The bathroom includes a shower, sink and loo. Create your own hot water by using the woodfired boiler and enjoy the satisfaction whilst showering. The alfresco kitchen includes a two ring gas hob, crockery and kitchen essentials box and ice cooler. Guest access You will have access to your own private pod area, the communal bbq hut and the playground. The playground includes a reading and games room for adults and monkey bars, log climber, swings and sand pit for children. You can also walk around the woods and listen for the birdsong. We also have an on site Food Shack, Lahtle Grub, which currently serves pizzas on Friday evenings but will be expanding the menu to serve breakfasts on weekends in 2025. There is so much to see and do around our local area. The coastal town of Scarborough is a 20 minute drive away and the Market town of Malton is a 15 minute drive in the opposite direction. There are many fun attractions such as Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire Water Park, Woldies Lavender Farm, Scampston Hall, Castle Howard, Alparmare waterslides and spa, Flamingo Land and local towns such as Filey and Pickering too. Other things to note We are off-grid, so the pods have no electricity but we do provide lanterns and fairy lights. There is running water but you can heat with by wood burner. In your pod area you will find a QR code which takes you to an instructional guide on how to use your pod facilities.
