Experience an old half-timbered house anew. Take a vacation in a house whose age you don't even notice. The half-timbered house was built in 1837 and was ecologically renovated in 2020. However, the old charm of the house has been preserved and is thus a real oasis of well-being for young and old. Visit our beautiful vacation home for 4 people with 2 bedrooms. Three floors to feel good with 2 bathrooms and a spacious kitchen-living room with a parlor can be found in the old clay/half-timbered house. The space Enjoy the tranquility in the middle of the village of Oelzschau and yet only 17 km away from the metropolis of Leipzig. Herrmanns houses offer you space to relax and unwind for young and old. The house was built around 1837 and was lovingly renovated from 2021 to 2023. It consists of 3 floors. In the attic there is a bedroom with 2 single beds (which can also be provided as a double bed – depending on the agreement) as well as a bathroom with bathtub. On the middle floor, the old timber frame was highlighted and a large, cozy living, kitchen and dining area was created. Here you can let your travel companions spoil you. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, which has been preserved with a clay ceiling and clay walls. You will also find a modern bathroom with a spacious shower. From Oelzschau you can explore Leipzig, Grimma, Bad Lausick, Kohren-Sahlis and the surrounding area with the newly created lakes. The Saxon wine-growing regions of Meissen and Naumburg are only 1 hour away. You can swim, walk, cycle and boat or just relax. Unfortunately, Oelzschau no longer has any restaurants, but you can find them in the neighboring villages. You can find information in our guest folder. Upon arrival, we have made the beds for you, provided towels, shower gel, soap, etc., so that you will not miss the comfort of a hotel, because with us you will also enjoy plenty of space and freedom.
