You will feel truly at home and at peace for your quiet getaway to Big Canoe! The front entrance opens to a great room with flat-screen TV and woodburning stacked stone fireplace, a fully furnished kitchen, and a dining room that seats 6-10 people.   The kitchen has new appliances, a large prep area for cooking on the kitchen island and a butlers pantry off the kitchen with a sink. The charming breakfast area seats an additional 4.  This beautiful home has a newly renovated spa-like bathrooms throughout.   The main floor has one primary bedroom (king) with adjoining bathroom (tub and walk-in shower) and one queen bedroom has an attached bathroom with walk-in shower.    On the upper level two bedrooms (which a queen bed and a double bed)  share an adjoining Jack and Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower.   On the terrace level,  one bedroom (with queen bed) has an adjoining bathroom with walk-in shower.   One of the terrace bedrooms has glass french doors which open to the lower living room.   The home provides a perfect getaway for a large family, group, or business meeting.   There are TVs in the master bedroom and both living rooms.  The gorgeous wooded views throughout and feeling of being suspended in the trees sets our house apart and makes for a wonderful mountain escape.   The owner has allergies so no pets are allowed. With seven mountains and five lakes, the community has a beautiful backdrop for its three championship golf courses, fourteen tennis courts, three swimming pools (one Big indoor), swimming lake (with beach, paddle boats, canoes, & paddle boards), stunning mountain lake (with marina, fishing & rental pontoon boats) and first class wellness center and basketball court. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 10 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction. RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES: We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis and pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide. PARKING: Easy access to home- from the large, level driveway and parking area. Room to park multiple cars. FIREPLACE: Is wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelog or firewood. **CLEANING PROTOCOLS**   A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue.  All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants.  We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards.  We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-)  This beautiful home is not pet friendly.  :-) GATHERINGS: We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit. SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in the home during your reservation period. MINIMUM AGE: Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees).  If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded.  Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded.  We will do our best to work with each guest.  We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
