Inside the nearby village of Hornsö is a beautiful swimming area with a sandy beach. It takes 30 minutes to the coast for sea bathing and other attractions in Mönsterås, which is a picturesque harbor town. The beautiful city of Kalmar is a great getaway for those who want to discover history and cozy streets and squares. To Öland, it takes about 45 minutes over Kalmar Strait.
