The space Our most spacious and enchanting room is located upstairs overlooking the front of the home. It features a beautiful hand painted turret ceiling, crystal chandelier, and gorgeous original stained glass windows. You will truly feel like the King or Queen of the castle. From beautiful antiques to a cozy sitting area, this beautifully appointed room also features a king size bed, private bathroom with a tub/shower combo, Roku TV for your viewing pleasure as well as a ceiling fan for your comfort. We designed this room specifically for your comfort in mind. We want you to feel at home and truly relax and enjoy your time here in our home. Girls weekend? We have added a twin bed and created the coziest little space you can imagine. An extra $35.00 will be charged for the additional guest. Guest access Our guests are encouraged to explore all of the common areas. These include a parlor that is like stepping back in time. The front parlor features many antiques and time period furnishings. Enjoy the 1880s Thomas Edison phonograph, the antique Kimball baby grand piano or read a book in one of the oversized wingback chairs. We invite you to explore our spacious manicured grounds or to grab a refreshment from our coffee bar and simply sit on the porch in one of our rocking chairs and enjoy the calm and peaceful sounds of nature around you. A short walk or golf cart ride to the beautiful historic town center features shops, antique stores, museums, beautiful old churches, historic homes and some of the finest dining in East Texas. Enjoy historical tours, ghost walks, nature trails and so much more! During your stay We live on site and will greet you when you arrive. Check-in begins at 3:30 Other things to note Each room is appointed with Roku TV, ceiling fan, high quality linens, signature toiletries, and luxurious towels. In our coffee bar you will find a refrigerator stocked with bottled water, complimentary beverages, and snacks as well as a Keurig with a large variety of coffees and teas to choose from.
