Haygarth Farmhouse Rural Retreat

A charming holiday home settled in a rural location with easy access from the A1079, 3 miles from York Centre. Perfect for a romantic weekend, family getaway or for business travellers who appreciate a bit of peace and country air. Hagg Wood is beautiful to visit. Dunnington village is within walking distance with great amenities, a pub, hairdressers, chemist, supermarket & bakery. The space As you walk into Haygarth Farmhouse you enter the open plan kitchen/diner/living room. To the right is the country stylish kitchen which includes a dishwasher, fridge freezer, ranger cooker and a belfast sink. There is a large dining table to enjoy and entertain. To the right of the room is a cosy living area with a log burning stove. There is also a ground floor toilet. There are french doors that look onto the private garden. Leading to the first floor along the oak staircase is a luxurious bathroom suite by Chadder & Co England which includes a freestanding bath and a large power shower. The Master bedroom suite is light and airy with views across the open fields and a super king bed for an amazing nights sleep. The second bedroom is a light and spacious room with a king size bed. The third bedroom is a bright room with a single bed. Outside there are chickens, sheep and horses. We would request that dogs are kept within the garden area. We have a limit of a maximum of 2 dogs per stay and request that dogs remain downstairs throughout your stay and are not left in the property alone. Guest access Haygarth Farmhouse is a detached property with a lovely private garden and the entire space is to be enjoyed by yourselves. Other things to note Sadler's Cottage and Cuthbert's Cottage are situated within the courtyard next to Haygarth Farmhouse and are also available to book. They are newly renovated from the old stables and have been completed to a very high standard throughout in June 2024. Each cottage sleeps 4 with 2 double bedrooms. In the second bedrooms there are link beds, which can either be a king size bed or two single beds. They both have their own private gardens. No pets allowed in the cottages.
