Get away from it all and relax in a cozy barn apartment surrounded by the beauty of the country. We have recently restored an over 100-year old barn and converted the old stalls into a small apartment (600 sq ft). If you want to experience the beauty of nature in a unique place, this is the place for you. We use the barn to store hay for our cattle. We have Wagyu calves in the adjacent corral. In addition to cattle, we have a pecan orchard, 2 other farm houses for rent and pine trees. The space Authentic working barn. This is a restored barn that has been in the area for over 100-years. Now that it is restored, we are using it to store hay for our cattle. We also have Wagyu calves that are fed daily in the adjacent corral. On our farm, we raise cattle, have a pecan orchard, and pine trees. Our farm has been in our family since 1957. The farm is in a valley between two mountains with the northern mountain bluffs of Lee Mountain providing an excellent view. Bedrooms: The barn apartment includes a master bedroom and two other bedrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms have skylights that allow you to view the stars from while relaxing in bed. One of the extra bedrooms is in a detached stall across from the main apartment. Bathroom: There is one bathroom that has a shower, washer and dryer. Kitchen: There is a fully stocked kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink. Living: The living area has a small sleeper couch, 50-inch TV, and dining table. Hayloft: The upstairs hay loft door can be opened to take in the view from upstairs. Wifi: There is Wifi at the house. The TV does not have cable, but you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc from the smart TV. Guest access Guests will have access to the apartment, the hay loft, and the detached bedroom. The guests will also have access to the front of the barn where they can park their cars. Other things to note No Pets allowed. Since we have cattle surrounding the barns, we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home. Please remember that this is a working barn, so you will be in close vicinity to hay, farm equipment and cattle. The barn apartment is around 600 square feet, so you will be cozy!
