Top of the Day in Noe Valley
Top of the Day in Noe Valley
Description
Private room & deck for you alone. Shared bathroom, but I'm a very light user and usually shower at the gym. A comfortable, lived-in home rather than a vacation rental: relaxed, quiet & accommodating. Modest two-bedroom flat built into the side of a steep hill in quiet Noe Valley residential neighborhood. So steep that walking anywhere is a workout, even if you're in shape. Plentiful parking on our cul-de-sac. Abundant flora & fauna adjoining Billy Goat Hill nature area and local nature trails. The space Plenty of parking on our cul de sac. (Rare for San Francisco.) Unsuitable for children younger than 7, especially toddlers. Built on the east side of a very steep hill, morning Sun fills all the rooms. The kitchen, ("Well equipped," according to several guests), includes contemporary gas stove, dishwasher etc., along with a large raised breakfast table. In addition to a shower, the long bathtub is suitable for soaking. Towels, washcloths, shampoo, etc. provided. (And let us know in advance what else you might need, so to hopefully lessen the weight of your luggage.). Our 50" video monitor utilizes Google Chromecast & Xfinity Flex to stream Amazon Prime, etc. Default is to leave you be, but happy to 'concierge' as much as may be helpful. Obligatory San Francisco Ordinance language: Possession of a San Francisco Short-Term Rental Registration Certificate certifies that the registration certificate holder has agreed to comply with the terms of the San Francisco Short-Term Residential Rental Ordinance (San Francisco Administrative Code Section 41A). This ordinance does not require an inspection of the unit by the City for potential Building, Housing, Fire, or other Code violations. Guest access Private bedroom & adjoining deck. Shared bathroom, but I'm a very light user and usually shower at the gym. Shared access to Kitchen; Living Room; Dining Room; Laundry; Back Yard. During your stay Your uninterrupted privacy is assured. That said, we are friendly & happy to provide any assistance you may need. Other things to note + The 27% grade is so steep that even walking 1/2 block to the bus stop is a genuine workout. + Quiet after 10pm is strictly enforced: this is an extremely quiet neighborhood. + This place is unsuitable for children under 7 years old. + Non-shedding dogs allowed on a case by case basis, however they must be bathed & groomed within five days before arrival. + So sorry, but we are unable to host puppies, cats or kittens. + Utilizing Lyft/Uber can be very helpful here, even when getting to nearby mass transit stops because the sidewalks here are so steep. It is the price we pay for the great views that living on a very steep hillside provides. And having a car can be helpful when exploring the surrounding Bay Area. + A steep, arduous path from our back yard leads to adjoining "Billy Goat Hill" park. (So named after a neighbor's goats when this was countryside back in the 1940's. She also possessed the last milk cow in SF!). + Also nearby: look up "Harry Street steps San Francisco" and the "Glen Canyon" nature area. + Hummingbirds are regular visitors, as are racoon, possum, skunk, coyote, hawk, owl, cedar waxwing...on and on. In a recent summer, a young cougar was captured one block away and, of course, was safely returned to a more rustic locale. Registration Details STR-0003607
