All living areas are on the second story and accessed via staircases. The home is perfect for outdoor entertaining with decks at both the front and rear. Tumbulgum is a popular fishing and water sports destination. Tumbulgum is located 16km from Kingscliff, one of the many beautiful beaches of the Northern Rivers. The space With open plan living in mind, the dining, kitchen and lounge is a large social space. Featuring a breakfast bar, induction stove top, electric oven and dishwasher. There is a spacious dining table that seats 6. A Large comfortable lounge and television are perfect for watching movies, curling up and reading a book or socialising with friends. With comfortable air conditioning for heating and cooling The large master bedroom features a king bed, hanging space and shelving available for luggage and personal items. The bedroom has a ceiling fan. The two guest bedrooms have queen sized beds, ceiling fans and black out blinds. One of these queen rooms has hanging space for clothing. The bathroom has recently been renovated in a beautiful mid century modern design featuring a large walk in shower and bath tub. Please note our home has a strict pet policy. The back deck is a large space which can comfortably host all guests for dinner with a big outdoor dining table and BBQ. This deck is accessed via the master bedroom or rear staircase. The rear deck overlooks the back yard which is a nice grassy space perfect for kicking a ball or furry friends to stay. The backyard is completely fenced and gated. There is a large garage space on the ground floor which is locked. This is not accessible to guests. Location Our home is in the heart of Tumbulgum, a picturesque quiet town on The Tweed River in the Northern Rivers. Everywhere in Tumbulgum is walking distance to the pub, boat ramp, cafe and river front all less than 500 meters. Tumbulgum is: - 15 minute drive to Kingscliff and surrounding beaches. - 18 minute drive from Coolangatta - Gold Coast airport. - 42 minute drive to Byron Bay town centre. Tumbulgum is known for its historical pub, waterskiing and fishing. The local pub is two blocks away and is the perfect spot to have a drink and watch the sun set. Husk distillery known for its famous “ink gin”, great cocktails and meals is located 1.5km (10-15 minute walk ) from the house. Otherwise a short 2 minutes drive with free parking. Tropical Fruit World is located a short 7 minute drive away and is perfect for children. Guest access Enjoy the entire home. A code will be provided the day before you check in to gain access. Other things to note Pet policy. We love our furry friends however due to some bad experiences we have had to take a strict stance on pets. Please contact us to discuss your furry friend prior. Pete must be kept outside. Failure to do so will incur fees. Please note we are not responsible for your pets, whilst the yard is fenced the gate has a gap that small animals could escape under.
