This is an exceptionally well presented apartment that allows 4 guests (with an option to add 2 more available on request) to enjoy elevated views of the river, stretching right out as far as the mouth of the estuary. The space The property makes for the prefect couples retreat, or small family getaway and is only a moments’ walk from Dartmouth’s enviable selection of shops, cafés, and inns, as well as the many river rides and ferries to fully explore the villages and local ports. Access is via a roadside entrance and half a dozen descending steps which lead to the main front door. Once in, an open plan lounge, kitchen diner awaits, the large sash windows, flooding the space with light then invite you gaze across the water where you can very quickly allow yourself to drift off to a place of pure imagination. The open planned layout is modern, yet cozy and the two armchairs are positioned in such a way that they lend themselves to long stretches of relaxation. The master bedroom is home to a sumptuous king sized bed, en-suite, complete with shower and ample wardrobe space to hang and organise your clothes. This room is the perfect place to enjoy the early morning sunrise as is becomes visible at the mouth of the estuary. The adjoining hallway leads to the mezzanine floor space where it doubles as a separate workspace with desk, or two further single pull-out beds that are available on request. The utility room is fitted with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink and next door, the main family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, offering views of the town as well as the river. The twin room is in keeping with the master, light and airy with space to hang your clothes and two windows offering similar views to the rest of the apartment. Below the apartment, and accessed by two flights of steps is a rather appealing patio area. Tucked into a little corner offering privacy from above, it’s the perfect place to sit and relax or indulge whilst enjoying a morning coffee, glass of wine or a good old BBQ! Dartmouth is an all year round destination hosting a variety of regional events like the yearly Dart Music Festival (May), the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta (August), and the October Dartmouth Food Festival Tremorvah provides an opportunity to experience waterside living at its best whilst offering walking access the town with ease.
