You can get on a train and get around Dubai easily. Many things are accessible on foot as well (restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, supermarkets). The fastest and easiest way from DXB by taxi (30min). The cheapest way from DXB airport is by metro (45 minutes, 7.5 AED per person). If you rent a car, make sure you get a navigator or use your mobile map app. Dubai intersections are pretty confusing!
