Welcome to our cozy cabin in Brighton, just minutes away from Solitude and Brighton ski resorts. Nestled in tall pine trees, our charming cabin is perfect for a winter ski vacation or a summer mountain getaway. The cabin features natural wood finishes, leather furniture, and comfortable blankets. The living room is inviting and has a wood-burning stove, making it perfect for relaxing after a long day. You'll stay at nearly 8000' elevation, so you'll be high in the mountains close to skiing! Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare delicious meals. The dining area can seat up to six people if the table is extended. It is generally set up for four. The upstairs sleeping area is a loft partitioned with a curtain for separate sleeping quarters. It has comfortable king beds and each side of the room has its own electric heater on a thermostat. The living room features a wood burning stove along with a comfortable couch and two arm chairs. You will have access to the entire home. I live in the Salt Lake Valley and generally will only be available via the app or phone call. The Pine Tree neighborhood is a collection of cute cabins nestled in the forest of Big Cottonwood Canyon. It has a mixture of full time residents and renters, so please be considerate of those around you when visiting. Please note that pets are not allowed at the property or in the canyon at all. It is a water shed area and you can be ticketed for bringing animals into the canyon. You'll need 4 wheel drive in the winter. The road is plowed, but snow packed. Depending on the timing of a storm, it is also possible that the plow won't be able to make it for part of the day. The road in the summer is dirt. Sedans are fine, but just be aware that it can be a bit muddy if wet. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles, so please plan accordingly. There is not space for any trailers or RVs. Depending on the timing of a storm, it is also possible that the plow won't be able to make it for part of the day. Please keep in mind this cabin is up in the mountains and there are major winter storms that can cause difficult driving conditions. The road in the summer is dirt. If you would like to use the wood burning stove, please bring your own wood up from the valley. We do not stock firewood or fire starters at the home. Our internet is Starlink satellite and there are some tree obstructions. It is plenty fast, but every few minutes will drop connection momentarily. Streaming and general browsing works great, but video calls struggle. If you are planning on working remotely, please keep this in mind!
