Fire pit for evening fun right outside the wagon. The carriage Maxi is a simple cabin and is insulated but does not have waterable electricity and no water. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. Please bring your own firewood. You can also buy it from the camp. ( 110 NOK / 60 liter large sack.) NOTE: During the period 1 Sept - 1 May, a small bag of wood is included for initial heating. Solar panel provides electricity for some light ( a light in the cabin) and it is possible to charge your mobile phone and tablet. Please bring your own usb cable and car charger. Also candles in the cabin. Bed is a double bed 140 cm with 2 duvets and 2 pillows. Table and pair of chairs. The guest will bring their own bed linen and towels. Håvestøl nature camp is a small, simple campsite without electricity and water and is nicely located by a small stream with a nice view of Sletafjell and has scenic surroundings at the same time that it is a short way to the road. The wagon and the camp are constantly under improvement so there are still new things coming. The water height in the river is very variable. With the season also nature varies. It is about 25 km to Evje, where you can find many grocery stores, mineral park, rafting, climbing forest, go-kart etc. To Åseral church village there is about 25 km, grocery store, gas station, Memorial cultural center, etc. To Bortelid it is about 15 km. There will be a bike and hiking trails, mini golf, canoe rental, small shop, etc. It is about 90 km to Kristiansand and 90 km to Arendal. Transportation to Håvestøl nature camp: If you do not have a car then you can take, for example, plane or ferry to Kristiansand which is closest to the station. From there you can take a bus to Evje and for example a bus from Evje on to Røynlid in Åseral municipality and we will pick you up from Røynlid for free. We can also pick up from Evje for a slightly longer stay for a small extra fee. (Feel free to help us get the bus back and feel free to take a phone to Akt - bus and ask for a bus to Håvestøl nature camp. ) In winter, Åseral municipality has 3 alpine center.
