Harrods Hideaway, peaceful countryside location

Enjoy the history surrounding this beautiful rural getaway, ideal for a short romantic break or an escape from busy life. Nestled deep in the heart of England within the attractive hamlet of Hanbury, surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are miles of public footpaths to explore, including the Hanbury 10k circular. Points of interest within walking distance: Hanbury Hall, Hanbury Church, The Jinney Ring Craft Centre, Piper's Hill and The Vernon - the birthplace of Radio 4 The Archers. The space Harrod’s Hideaway is a newly refurbished annex with new furniture and bedding. The lounge/kitchen area is furnished with a large TV, coffee table, a comfortable sofa bed and a dining table suitable for up to 4 people. The sofa bed is perfect for 2 children or 1 adult unless you don't mind being cosy, then 2 adults are fine. The ample sized kitchen is well-equipped to cater for any dinner party and boasts a full sized oven, induction hob and dishwasher. The dining table is well suited to also function as a workspace. Monitor and keyboard available if needed. The bedroom offers a sumptuous king size bed with a Tempur mattress to guarantee the best night's sleep. The bathroom is newly fitted with a power shower, toilet, sink, towel radiator and storage facilities. We offer free Wi-fi and off-street parking for more than one car. Guest access Access to the accommodation is through a secured gate and along a short path from the private driveway. The property benefits from a private entrance lobby. Ideal for muddy boots and it provides an extra storage area. The garden next to the entrance offers an outdoor patio, seating area and BBQ, overlooking the vegetable patch. Its ideal to enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine and listen to the birdsong. The vegetable patch is an ongoing project. Hopefully next year we will be offering home grown produce to our guests during their stay. Other things to note We have chickens in the garden at Whitehouse Farm, so there are always fresh free-range eggs in the kitchen upon arrival. If you want to visit the chickens during your stay please let me know and a supervised visit can be arranged. The ladies are always pleased to see guests.
