Enjoy a vacation in the quirky mountain town of Nederland. The NedStead offers a cozy mountain getaway experience with sweet amenities & fantastic views in a quiet & clean setting. Newly renovated to accommodate families & friend groups of up to 6 people. You'll find absolute relaxation in our lovely mountain home. Enjoy skiing at Eldora until 4/21/24! The space STR License #Ned013 Our mountain home is located just minutes from downtown Nederland, close to shopping, restaurants, breweries, The Carousel of Happiness, liquor stores, grocery stores, and much more! A winter time beauty, we are just 15 minutes by car to Eldora Ski Resort. Downtown Boulder is 17 miles away, about 35 minutes. There is SO MUCH HIKING and it's right outside our door! Wonderful & easy-to-intermediate hiking and mountain biking trails are just to the east & south of our property line. Nederland hosts many great trail heads just outside of town. We are always happy to recommend! Rocky Mountain National Park & other wilderness areas are nearby. Great family activities: skiing, the Carousel of Happiness, Wild Bear Nature Center and more. This is great for couples and families, but we DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES OR LOUD GROUPS, as there is a tenant in the ground floor apartment. Enjoy your stay, but please be respectful and thoughtful of our great neighbors. We love animals, but we are a pet-free listing! Please find other accommodations for your furry friends. Our home has a large living area with a gas fireplace, comfortable seating and a large SmartTV, cozied up to our spacious dining area and well-equipped, open kitchen. The kitchen has all the gadgets and cookware you could ever want for all your culinary needs & new stainless steel appliances. Our main level also hosts a 1/2 bath & our laundry room. Up one flight of stairs to our top level, we have three bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed and ensuite full bath with soaking tub; a large bedroom with king-sized bed; and a bedroom with a twin bed that pulls out to make a queen. The twin bedroom also has a desk for office use. Two fully-renovated bathrooms are found upstairs as well. All of our bedrooms and bathrooms come with plenty of fresh, cozy and clean linens and towels. We have lovely views from all areas of our home, and our large front deck is a magical space to enjoy the views of the Indian Peaks. Guest access Our guests get full access to the primary dwelling areas of the house, including the garage and upper levels. We do have a small studio/workshop next to the garage, at ground level, that is private and not available to our guests. Other things to note We have a steep driveway which will most likely require an AWD vehicle. We suggest that our guests only plan to drive an AWD in the mountains here between the months of November-April. Onsite parking is available at the top of the driveway to the left of the entry stairs as well as in a space half way up the driveway on the left. Do not park in front of the garage door area. Smoking, fires, burning, or fireworks of any kind on the premises is strictly prohibited. A fire extinguisher and fire blanket are located in the kitchen across from the refrigerator. Please note our emergency evacuation route, listed on the wall in the laundry room area. DO NOT interact with any wildlife. Please enjoy our woodland visitors from afar.
