While the rest of the world is burning hot this July, our wooded mountain cabin stays cool. At night, you may need long pants and might cuddle under our soft blankets. During the day, you'll take a short walk to 3 lakes and a heated outdoor pool & splash pad, basketball & tennis courts, playgrounds & clubhouse. Bring your bike, hike the surrounding state parks, or relax on the expansive deck and around the firepit. Anyway you enjoy the magical Pocono mountains, come stay with us!! The space Location: It's cooler here not just because of all the trees, but because of the elevation! New York and Philadelphia are 33 ft 39 ft above sea level, respectively. Our cabin is 1909 ft. above sea level!! Community: Our cabin is steps away from the heated outdoor pool, splash pad, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, and a great restaurant/grill. The Clubhouse includes billiards, shuffleboard, and table tennis. Our cabin is a short walk from Big Bass Lake, a clean swimming and boating/fishing lake, the largest of our community's 3 lakes. It includes our 14 foot canoe, BBQ grills, and a playground right on the guarded beach. Larsen Lake is also nearby and offers a playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and BBQ grills by the beach. Family-friendly events, activities, and live music all summer long make it so that it's difficult to leave the community. Big Bass also boasts a large baseball/soccer field, bocce courts, and frisbee golf. In winter, a 5 min. drive to our Recreation Center offers an indoor pool and sauna, along with tubing hills. Cabin: Filled with light and original art, our cabin is calming. Featuring an expansive deck and a built-in firepit, our cabin is family friendly. Equipped with scooters, a tricycle, beach toys, basketball, and a game cabinet with games for young and old, our cabin is fun. We have a high chair, Pack N' Play, booster seat, and a changing pad for your little one. Our kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and new appliances. On the deck is a Weber grill and sturdy modern patio furniture. From the deck you'll see every form of wildlife in the Poconos (except fish-you'll have to walk to the lake for that). Soft cotton linens and towels give our cabin a touch of luxury and strong internet and WiFi make it perfect for movie nights and remote working. In winter, our fireplace is easy to turn on and will keep you cozy, while it snows and snows and snows.... Guest access Guests enjoy the cabin and the large wooded lot on which it sits, and all of the amazing amenities at Big Bass lake. Other things to note It is our belief that Big Bass is the best community in the Poconos. The staff is friendly and the vibe is all peace all the time. We find ourselves renewed each time we stay by nature and this lovely cabin and we love sharing it with others. The memories you make here will stay with you forever!!
