Escape to Norway's breathtaking countryside and welcome to a stay at our beautiful family cabin offering amazing skiing and hiking opportunities and just a scenic 3-hour drive from Oslo. Nestled amidst pristine snow-covered landscapes, the cabin offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature both in summer and winter. With 4 spacious bedrooms, it's an ideal retreat for families and friends. The cozy living area boasts a crackling fireplace, perfect for warming up after a day of winter adventures. The cabin has a sauna, fire place, lounge with TV on the second floor and a big kitchen with utilities for cooking and hosting your friends and family. The cabin offers two large bathrooms with toilets and showers. If you need to wash your clothes during your stay there is a brand new washing machine located in washing room by the entrance, where you will also find refill of soap, coffee and other stuff available. Enjoy the lounge in the living room with a beautiful fireplace and plenty of comfortable furniture. The dining area comfortably seats 10 people or more. In the maste bedroom you will find a king size bed and private bathroom with sauna. The cabin is new, modern and offering a private parking outside for 2 to 3 cars. When it gets warmer late in the season, we have a big terrace fire pit for your, where it is beautiful to relax and enjoy the sun in the summer or easter. The place is suitable for guests traveling alone, as couples, families or friends, or even anyone who need to get out of town for a while or to work remotely. We have both local and international guests staying, so we more than happy to host you and your family and share our wonderful family home in the mountains with you! Guest access Only a 3 hours drive from Oslo and a 5 hours drive from Bergen. 25 minutes drive to the city of Fagernes which offers restaurants, cafes and a shopping centre. The local (KIWI) Groceries shop is a 13 minute drive from the cabin, and is also open on Sundays. Danebu Kongsgaard, Boutique Hotel, is only a 9 minutes walk from the cabin, offering local and ecologically sourced food, and a cute wine bar.
