The Dragonfly Inn

Built in 2023, enjoy the redwoods, rivers and beaches with a stay at the Dragonfly! 30-40 minutes from Stout Grove, Jedediah, Prairie Creek, Ladybird Johnson and Avenue of the Titans. 10 minutes to Trees of Mystery & beach to catch a sunset. Close to the Klamath River fishing. Clean, comfortable and convenient for creating great memories with family and friends. Dogs are welcome although back of property is not fully fenced. On Hunter Creek — a great place to look for Squatch😀 The space Located in Hunter Creek Subdivision, approximately seven minutes off the 101. The neighborhood was developed in 1967 after The Klamath River flooded and many people lost their homes. Many of the homes are older manufactured houses that are owner occupied. The Dragonfly Inn backyard goes 120' into the creek bed and the back facing living room windows show the view of the forest. Hunter Creek Rd is 2.2 miles north of the Klamath River. When the creek dries up, it is a beautiful place to take a walk (watch for momma bears if you adventure deep into the forest). Guest access The Dragonfly Inn is an all access property with a large back yard opening to a seasonal creek. There is a single car garage that can fit a 16' vehicle. Electric car charging outlet is in the garage. We do not mind if you use the laundry facility, but please provide your own detergent and make sure sandy towels from the beach are well shaken out before adding water :) Other things to note 10% Del Norte County Transient Occupancy Tax is included in nightly rate. Being located in the heart of Redwoods National Park, our area has basic internet. If you are working remotely and requiring a high upload capability, please request a speed test. We have had many guests work from The Dragonfly without a problem. If you are doing HD conferencing, our service will not be fast enough. Thanks!
